Women Role Increases Peace Opportunities in Afghanistan: IHRC

vlcsnap-2017-04-11-16h02m39s64The Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC) head, Seema Samar during a press conference in Kabul has insisted on women’s role in all aspects of the society.

Seema Samar linked the current ongoing conflict the main reason for the lack of women’s participation in public and private organizations.

“As long as sexual discrimination continues between women and men in Afghanistan, the current conflicts won’t end any time soon.” Dr. Seema Samar, told the press.

She voiced serious concerns over growing women rights violation in Afghanistan, citing women rights in Afghanistan violates every single day.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Culture officials have admitted that the law which protects women’s right is being ignored systematically in the country.

A sky-rocking of 6,000 cases of violence against women have been recorded in 2015.
