US President lands in India for three-days visit

President Obama landed in New Delhi on Sunday morning for a three-day state visit along with the First Lady Mitchell Obama, Cabinet members, Senators and Lawmakers.

He was warmly hugged and welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian officials and dignitaries.

It is believed that the two leaders will probably emphasize on closer economic and defense ties between Washington and New Delhi and will further improve the ties.

U.S. President is scheduled to attend India Republic Day Parade on Monday.

According to the reports Obama will fly to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to express his condolence for Saudi nation for the death of King Abdullah and congratulate his successor, King Salman.

This is the second trip of Obama to India since he has owned the chair.
