Changes to Be Made in Electoral Reformation Committee System: Ghani
President Mohammad Asharf Ghani has decided to reform the Electoral Reformation committee.
A member of the following committee said that the number of the members from 9 will be deducted and new face will be added in the committee as the member.
Member of the reformation Electoral committee Aziz Rafiee said,” there is no news from the activities of the following committee, there is possible changes to be made, I hope to see the new changes made within the committee as soon as possible.”
Earlier President Ghani had promised two weeks ago that Electoral Reformation Committee to begin its activities in this week, but his words weren’t interpreted practically.
Head of the Election Transparent Foundation in Afghanistan Naim Ayubzada said,” there is still a deadlock, President Ghani is trying to appoint new faces within the committee as the new members.”
Mp Abdul Qadir Zazai said,” there is still disagreement in between the two leaders of the National Unity Government, the following issue has caused that the Electoral Reformation Committee could begin its activities.”
Efforts made to have the Presidential palace and CEO offices both have expressed nothing about the issue.
