Health Ministry said at least seven people were killed and 107 more were injured in the attack which involved three suicide bombers who blew up among the mourners.
Earlier, health officials informed about 19 dead in the attack.
Several high-ranking government officials including Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, Justice and Foreign Affair Ministers were also attended the funeral ceremony, no harm has been done to them.
In a Twitter post President Ghani condemned the “outrageous attack on mourners burying Mohammad Alam Ezadyar’s son Salem Ezadyar.
“Pres @ashrafghani condemns the outrageous attack on mourners burying the martyred. The country is under attack.We must be strong and united,” it read.
Following the incident, CE Abdullah appeared live from his home, where he said that killing of civilians at the funeral ceremony and Friday’s rally will be investigated.
Salem Ezadyar was killed in an anti-government protest over insecurity in Kabul on Friday.
The blasts come days after a tanker bomb explosion left hundreds of casualties in the city.
