“The attack was conducted last night, November 19, by the Taliban and Afghan forces suffered no casualties in the counter-attack against the militants”, He added.

Farah is a volatile province in the western part of the country where the Taliban have often launched some very deadly offensives on Afghan military bases.

Around 23 Afghan forces were killed, wounded, and arrested by the Taliban when the group’s fighters attacked another military base overnight on November 18.

According to the figures provided by the local officials, nearly 300 Afghan military forces have lost their lives in the battles with the Taliban since the beginning of this solar year.

The local officials further express concern over the rapid falling of military bases to the Taliban.
