The Taliban provokes underage Afghans to commit suicide attacks and plant mines, said the Police Chief of northern Baghlan Province on Wednesday.
General Abdul Akramuddin Sare, the Police Chief of northern Baghlan Province, said that the Taliban misleads mostly teenage boys by misinterpreting Islam to them, and provoking them to take action against the government and security forces.
Sare stressed that the Taliban is utilizing underage boys for offensives, suicide attacks and mine planting.
“Those who seek to deceive and provoke teens against the Afghan army, are foreign slaves,” he said.
The Police Chief of Baghlan, meanwhile, urged careful actions of the people in this regard.
The Taliban did not comment on the report.
