Taliban Destroyed 25 Media Outlets in Kunduz in 3 Day Control: Nai

While Taliban have had control of Kunduz city for 3 days they have destroyed 35 media outlets.
Nai supporting open media in Afghanistan has stated that Government should provide necessary help and assistance to those media outlets that had been destroyed by Taliban in Kunduz.
Meanwhile the President special envoy on Good Governance has declared the media role important for reformation of the system in the country.
Head of Nai Abdul Mujeeb Khalvatgar said,” 25 media centers were destroyed and damaged badly,most of them were robbed or were set into fire, we demand its urgent reconstruction for media in Kunduz.”
Correspondents are experiencing serious challenges with all Governmental departments specially with security ones Abdul Mujeeb Khalvatgar head of Nai added.
Meanwhile Afghanistan special envoy to good Governance Ahmad Zai Masoud said,” the following component will create the reformed system in the country, therefore having access to information is one of the basic principles of media.”
