Afghan Forces Recapture Badakhshan’s Kohistan District

The government forces reclaimed control of Kohistan district in northeastern Badakhshan province on Saturday evening, officials confirmed. Kohistan was recaptured after the Afghan forces’ clearance operation against the Taliban in the district.
