PM’s political deputy meets with senior Hamas officials in Doha

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the prime minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), has met with senior Hamas officials in Doha.
Abdul Kabir, who traveled to Qatar to attend the funeral of Hamas’s political leader Ismail Haniyeh, met with former Hamas chief Khalid Mashal, deputy chief of Hamas Musa Abu Marzooq and Ismail Haniyeh’s son Abdul Salam Ismail Haniyeh, to express condolences, Arg said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that Mawlawi Abdul Kabir said in a meeting with the Iranian interior minister that if Afghanistan had a common border with Israel, the Islamic Emirate would have entered the war to defend the people of Gaza.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, who visited Tehran last week to attend the inauguration of the new Iranian president, also assured Iran that the Islamic Emirate would not allow anyone to pose a threat to Afghanistan’s neighbors, especially Iran.
