Parliament Calls on Ghani to Introduce Ministerial Nominees ASAP

vlcsnap-2017-04-05-18h01m05s201The Lower House of Parliament has urged President Ghani to introduce the new ministerial nominees to the house at the earliest time to gain votes of confidence.

Chairman of the lower house has declared that the continuation of acting ministers’ works is not acceptable anymore and it will make the governance challenging.

“President Ghani should introduce the cabinet ministers to complete the cabinet and governance process properly goes forward,” said Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, chairman of Parliament.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimi emphasized that the absence of the lawmakers in parliament is anguish to the Afghan nation and from now on they should be dealt seriously.

“The absence of representatives is not acceptable. Those lawmakers that have continue absence will be dealt seriously by the administrative board,” Ibrahimi added.

Parliament members stressed that the country is facing many challenges and the government is responsible to solve these challenges and address people’s demands.
