Over 50 Afghan immigrants freed from Pakistani prisons

Acting Head of the Afghan consulate in Karachi Abdul Jabbar Takhari said in a video message on Saturday that 58 Afghan citizens have been released from several prisons in Pakistan’s Sindh province.
The released immigrants were transferred to Afghanistan through Chaman Road, Takhari said.
Currently, 221 Afghan immigrants are being held in Sindh prisons, he added.
He stated that a total of 3,200 people, including women and children, have been released from Sindh prisons in Pakistan for more than a year and returned to the country.
