Nawa District Government office, NDS Department Control Fall into Taliban Hands

Taliban have raided into the Nawa district of Helmand province later Wednesday evening and has been able to control the district Governor office, National Security Directorate department.
Mp AbdulWadood said,” Taliban have stormed from two sides and could control the Nawa district of Helmand province.”
Meanwhile Nawa district Governor Agha Mohammad Takal has confirmed the event saying fighting continues around the Police headquarter of Nawa district of Helmand.
Security officials have yet to provide details about falling of the Nawa district into Taliban control.
