MoRRD Signs 328 Million Afghani Development Projects

Officials in Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MoRRD) have signed contracts with the cost 328 Million Afghani on development projects the following projects include drinkable water, building canals, growing agriculture, and the construction of bridges in Afghanistan.

They have stated that the total number of projects is 37 which will be implemented within the villages of Afghanistan.

Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Naseer Ahmad Durani said,” Today we are going to sign two types of development projects with the cost of 237 million Afghani one will impact on growing Agriculture, which will include building of bridges, roads and the second will be building of canals, providing of drinkable water for the 93000 residents.”

He also urged that those project owners didn’t implement the plans accordingly were fined and executed and even we have dismissed the contracts.

Development projects are one of the nationwide programs which were implemented in different parts of Afghanistan where residents of the areas still complain from poor quality of the projects.
