Afghanistan Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said that among the detained suspects who have accused of cooperating with terrorists in Parwan, 18 of them have criminal cases recorded in the government.
MoI says that an investigation group has been sent to Parwan to investigate more about the suspects.
“Our preliminary investigations show that 18 of the arrested suspects of Parwan have criminal cases,” Sidiq Sidiqi, MoI spokesman said.
In the meantime, the Lower House of Parliament praised the recent efforts of Afghan security forces in arresting the suspects and called the Afghan forces to not allow the insurgent groups to replace themselves as Afghan residents.
Previously, many local people have been arrested by Afghan security forces in North and North Eastern parts of the country that after a short time it revealed that they had cooperation with terrorist groups.
