Officials in Ministry of commerce and industry have held a joint session with south Asian Association for Regional Cooperation SAARC in order to resolve the investments problems in Afghanistan.
Official members in SAARC have mentioned that Afghanistan is best platform for investment in the region.
Head of the SAARC Suraj vadia said,” Afghanistan is one of the remarkable members, I understand that Afghanistan is facing problems but can overcome, there are some capacity on infrastructure, Agriculture , Tourism which will boost the economy of Afghanistan.”
Head of the chamber of commerce and industry Atiqullah Nasrat said,” we have 85 percent business ties with Pakistan and 15 percent with India, it indicates 7 percent of business with SAARC countries members.”
“The joint session is important, we will push through to improve our economy ties with countries Deputy of Ministry of Commerce and industry Muzamil Shiwari said,”
The Secretary–General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, is the head of the SAARC Secretariat, which is headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal. The SAARC is an economic and geopolitical union between the eight South Asian member nations, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
