An institution called Afghanistan Freedom House in a report claims that the former president, Hamid Karzai’s government was the biggest violator of the Afghan constitution.

The reports says that the country’s constitution has been violated by citadel dwellers, cabinet members and parliament members during the Karzai’s government.

The most criticism is from Hamed Karzai that he had violated more than 30 articles of law, according to the report.

“Hamed Karzai, the former president of the country contrary to the 122nd article of the constitution has released the armed oppositions of the government,” Ali Aqa Mazidi, researcher in Afghanistan Freedom House said.

According to the Freedom House, the only article of law which has not been violated by anyone during Karzai’s government was the “Kabul capital of Afghanistan”.

“All the 162 articles of the constitution have been violated but the only articles that has not been violated during Karzai’s government is the 21st article of the constitution which is “Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan”,” Mazidi added.

The Afghanistan Freedom House has also criticizes the National Unity Government of violating the Afghan constitution.

“The important issues that President Ghani has violated are refusing the law, failure in holding election at specified time, maintaining the acting minister for a long time, releasing inmates without court orders,” Mazidi said.

But, the presidential palace has another view on this report .

“As I think, the released report by the Afghanistan Freedom House is mostly links to the previous government and it is better to talk about the past government,” Shah Hussain Murtazawi, President’s deputy spokesman said.

Ariananews tried to have the comments of Hamid Karzai’s office, but with repeated contacts failed to succeed.
