Kabul police thwart attack on Supreme Court

Kabul police on Thursday foiled an attack by an armed woman who wanted to enter the Supreme Court in Kabul.

Afghan security forces killed the female insurgent  before she enters into the apex court’s compound.

“An armed woman attacked to the guards of the Supreme Court and wounded a soldier, but the security forces succeed to kill her,” said Feraidun Obaidi, head of criminal investigation of Kabul.

According to the findings of Ariananews, the female attacker was 21 year-old, her husband lives in Pakistan and she has recently came to Kabul to stay in her brother’s house.

No insurgent groups have yet claimed responsibility behind the attack.
