IS fighters raid Achin in east as Taliban rocks Kunduz in north

Hundreds of Islamic State (Daesh) militants have attacked Achin district in eastern Nengarhar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday morning, local official said.
Ghaleb Mujahid, the district governor of Achin district told to Ariana News,” heaving clashes are continuing right now, eighteen fighters from Daesh group have been killed by Afghan security forces”.
He added, three Afghan security forces have also been injured during the fighting and a heavy fight is underway in Abdul Khil area of the district between Afghan forces and IS militants.
The attack comes as Taliban captured a major city in northern Afghanistan on Monday and set free hundreds of inmates.
