Iran’s Parliament, Imam Khomeini’s Shrine Attacked

A number of gunmen have opened fire on the security guards at the Iranian Parliament and the shrine of Ayatullah Khomeini in Tehran, Iranian media report.

According to the Tasnim news agency, at least one security guard have been killed and three others included two ordinery clients and a service staffer injured.

Some lawmakers at the Iranian parliament have confirmed killing of the security guard.

Reports suggest that security is under control inside the parliament as the assailant was surrounded by the security guards.

Fars news agency says three armed gunmen attacked the Shrine of Imam Khomeini in Tehran, killing one and wounding two people in a bomb attack and a shooting spree. One of the assilants have been killed, another arrested and the third has detonated himself.

The ISIL has taken responsiblity for both attacks.
