IEA’s supreme leader meets with top security officials
Mujahid added that the leader of the Islamic Emirate praised their efforts and gave recommendations in various fields.

Maulawi Hebatullah Akhundzada, the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), on Sunday met with Acting Defense Minister Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Acting Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, and intelligence chief Abdul Haq Wasiq in Kandahar province.
Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, said on X that during the meeting, the security officials briefed Akhundzada on progress made by their institutions.
Mujahid added that the leader of the Islamic Emirate praised their efforts and gave recommendations in various fields.
According to him, the meeting discussed the problems of the security institutions and the leader of the Islamic Emirate issued instructions for their resolution.
