IEA leader bans pension deductions from salaries of government workers

Supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Shaikh Hebatullah Akhundzada, has banned money being deducted from salaries of government employees for pensions.
In an order issued Sunday, Akhundzada said that no pension money can be deducted from military and civilian government employees with immediate effect, that being the first month of 1403.
He also requested information on the tenure of employees and the total amount deducted from salaries for pensions.
