Touring all the participating countries prior to beginning of matches, the International Cricket Council (ICC) 2015 World Cup Trophy has arrived in Afghan capital Kabul.
The trophy landed in Kabul International Airport on Saturday (September 13) welcomed by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).
Afghanistan took a further step in a remarkable rise by qualifying for their first World Cup courtesy of a crushing win over Kenya last year in 2013.
The 2015 ICC cricket world cup is going to be held in Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March.
Afghanistan has been placed in Group A for the tournament, where it will meet England, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and both host nations.
