The job vacancies were announced about two months ago, and 280,000 people have applied for the vacancies in total.
IARCSC said currently there are about 7,000 middle management positions which are being vacuum for almost five years.
“We do efforts to make the recruitment process transparent so that suitable people being hired,” said Nader Nadery, head of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission.
According to IARCSC estimation, most of the job applications for the vacuum posts came from the applicants based in Kabul.
Nadery said that government cannot address the issues of all unemployed people as it has only a total of 445,000 positions for civilians to be filled, insisting that there should be a joint effort with private sectors to end the issue.
