A number of representatives in Parliament claimed that the signature of former justice minister, Asadullah Ghaleb revealed in ministry of defense fuel contract seven months after his death.

Representatives called on government to prosecute those who involve in the embezzlement of the ministry of defense fuel contract.

Nilofar Ibrahimi, Member of Parliament said, “Mr. Ghaleb died one year ago before the signing of this contract, but the interesting thing is that his signature is on the contract.”

While the fact-finding commission stablished by president Ghani announced about the finance corruption of more than $ 100 million in relation to defense ministry’s fuel contract, some of Parliament representatives reveal new features regarding the case.

They also talked about big money deals between a number of representatives and ministerial nominees.

Representatives also accused president’s economic consultant, Omar Zakhial Wal in widespread finance corruption in the ministry of defense fuel contract.

“Zakhail Wal involves in the embezzlement of ministry of defense fuel contract but unfortunately he has not punished yet,” Latif Pedram, member of parliament said.

Ariananews wanted to have Zakhail Wal’s comments regarding the issue but failed to make contact with him.

The fact-finding commission findings indicate a widespread corruption of more than $ 100 million in defense ministry’s fuel contract but it is unclear who involve in this embezzlement so far.
