Unidentified gunmen shot two brothers dead and three other members of the family wounded in an attack late Thursday night in northern Kapisa, spokesman of Kapisa province said.
Spokesman of Kapisa province, Qais Naderi confirmed the incident, saying the attack occurred in Mahmood Raqi, the provincial capital of Kapisa, when gunmen attacked a house and began shooting at the family.
Naderi noted that the reason of the case is still unclear and the case in under serious investigation by police.
He added that the two brothers killed were shopkeepers and injured were taken to the central hospital in serious condition.
This comes as armed robbery, harassment and murdering cases has recently hit a high level in the country.
Illegal distribution of weapons to the people has also caused an increase in the number of murders and robberies in the country.
