President Ashraf Ghani has called on religious scholars to stand against intrigue, panic and misguides.
He called this year’s Ramadan month a month of panic and depression and urged people to be united against war and the current panic.
“This year, we witnessed the longest month of panic and depression. Islam is a complete system and there is no intrusion in it and you must avoid intrigue,” President Ghani said.
President Ghani also stressed the need of the Afghan people to be unified during the current situation.
“Each Sunni and Shia are brothers and there is no doubt in our brotherhood,” Ghani added.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Hajj said the current situation is full of crisis and demanded people to be united against all challenges.
“Our victory is in our unity. We all should have unity to defeat [our] enemies,” said Abdul Hakim Munib, the Deputy Minister of Hajj.
The Afghan people have experienced their deadliest month in this holy month of Ramadan with hundreds of people killed in suicide attacks in the country.
