The campaign team of Presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah has accused the rival Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai’s team of deliberately delaying the talks on electoral issues.
Abdullah’s spokesman warned Saturday they would leave talks if the opponent team continued their tactical games.
Balance and equality must be considered in the national unity government otherwise dialogues would be failed, said spokesman Mujib Rahman Rahimi said.
But the campaign team of Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai rejected the allegations as baseless, saying dialogues are underway among both the candidates and they would reach an agreement in next two or three days.
Former warlord, Abdul Rab Rassoul Sayaf, has also warned of chaos if the candidates failed to reach agreement ahead of announcement of poll results.
It is said that both the candidates have agreed on forming a government of national unity except the post of chief executive, a controversial post among the both teams.
