Five people including 3 policewomen have been arrested in connections to the murder of a policewoman named Aziza in the northern Faryab province, the provincial police said.
Aziza, 26, who served as a policewoman for the criminal department of Faryab Police Chief over the course of last 5 years was shot dead last week inside her home during the night.
As stated Mr. Abdulkarim Soroush, spokesman of Faryab Police Chief, the investigations and interrogations from arrested individuals was underway for identifying the main perpetrator of the incident.
According to the police official, Aziza’s husband is also under police custody who was charged with drug trade in the province.
Incidence of criminal cases has recently increased across the major cities of the country including Kabul in which many have been shot dead during the day light by unknown armed men.
