Executive Office Reacts to Zia Masoud’s Recent Remarks

CaptureThe Afghan Executive Office furiously reacted to recent remarks of Ahmad Zai Masoud, former representative of President on reforms and good governance, saying no one will be allowed to form a temporary government, the National Unity Government (NUG) is legitimate and will continue until the end of its term.

“Forming a temporary government is not an important issue to be discussed about, as no one would be allowed to do so. The NUG would continue its duties.” Mujib Rahimi, CEO spokesman said.

Rahimi informed the reports of intensified ground and aerial joint operations against insurgents, including Taliban and ISIS.

“Our operations against insurgents have surged with the cooperation of international forces. The forces wielding more options to help ANSF in their fight with the insurgents.” Mujib Rahimi added.

Recently, the self-proclaimed of Taliban has been killed during an Afghan Special Forces night operation in Baghlan province.
