The European Union (EU) assisted 116 million dollars to Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development Program, said the ministry of finance.
The ministry of finance said that the money will be spent on Rural Enterprise Development Programs through the World Bank and the budget of Afghanistan government.
Officials of EU also said that the money will spent on modernization and reconstruction programs.
Hazrat Omar Zakhailwal, the minister of finance said, “Rural Enterprise Development Programs were the most successful programs in the past few years.”
Earlier, the minister of rural development expressed concern over the election deadlock that had negatively affected on continuation of the international aids for Afghanistan.
