Eid Milad-u-Nabi is being celebrated on Saturday throughout Afghanistan with religious zeal and fervour.
A number of Afghan religious scholars are said to consider Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as guidance for mankind and said that Prophet Muhammad wiped out the cruelty, barbarism, Shrek and discord among Muslims.
They emphasized that the Prophet Muhammad’s birth was as a light in the darkness.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was born in Mecca ( Makkah), Arabia, on Monday, 12 Rabi’ Al-Awal (2 August A.D. 570).
Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the final prophet in a long chain of prophets sent to call the people to the obedience and worship of Allah alone.
