Drug traffickers will be suppressed: President Ghani

Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani who attended in a inauguration ceremony of a medical center called ( Heyayee Umid) for addicted people in Kabul has stated that addiction is one of the biggest challenges along side of poverty , migration, displace and unemployment in the country.

President Ghani has also insisted that production, and utilization of narcotic drugs is prohibited.

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of Public health reported that 11 percent of Afghans are addicted with kinds of Narcotic drugs Nationwide.

President Ghani said,” a minority of the Afghans are plugged with addiction, and the responsible for this disaster is the drug traffickers and producers of Narcotic drugs, and they will be suppressed soon.”

“ We have kept silent didn’t say any words about Narcotic drugs for the past 14 years, anytime the following word came on the discussion, a word was repeated that its not our problem, though we produce it, and its prohibited by Islam, we have to produce it, exported for others, and we will not get addicted President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani quoted the ex Afghan officials.”

Minister of Public health Ferozuddin Feroz said,” last survey indicated that up to 2015 the number of the Afghans who were addicted with Narcotic drugs reached up to 11 percent, and from the 11 percent drug users 1,50 million people are addicted with.”

Mr. Feroz has declared the increasing factors of the addictions in Afghanistan are insecurity, geographical, Terrorism, unemployment, migration as group, production of Narcotic drugs.

Recent waves of insecurity in Afghanistan have encouraged the terrorists to have the farmers to plan types of Narcotic drugs and get benefited.
