Drone Strikes target Taliban fighters in eastern Nengarhar

At least four Taliban fighters were killed in two separate U.S. drone strikes in eastern Nengarhar province.
Provincial police chief spokesman, Hazrat Hussain Mashrqiwal said the first attack was conducted over a Taliban shelter in Takya Khana area of Bati Kot district around 12:00 PM in which three Taliban militants were killed and another two were severely injured.
He added, the second attack was conducted in Haska Mina district which killed Qari Rafiqullah, a Taliban commander.
These attacks come as the U.S. forces have preformed about nine similar attacks during this week to clear Islamic State armed affiliates and Taliban fighters.
