Daesh Radio Destroyed in Nangarhar, 34 Militants Killed

Daesh radio station was destroyed and 34 militants were killed in air raids carried out by Afghan air forces in Nangarhar province, Afghan interior ministry said on Monday.

“In past 24 hours, 34 Daesh terrorists killed and a radio station run by Daesh terrorists destroyed after Afghan Air Forces targeted militants’ hideouts in the Naziyan and Achin districts of eastern Nangarhar province,” the statement said.

The statement added that the station was spreading the group’s propaganda messages and was issuing threats to the people and governmental staffs.

Since the beginning of the new year, the Afghan security forces have launched a counter-terrorism offensive which aims to drive the insurgents from across the country.
