DAB increases withdrawal limit from bank accounts
Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has brought changes to withdrawal limits that apply to all banks in the country.
The bank said in a statement that from now on, those who have individual dollar accounts can withdraw up to US$1,000 once a week or US$3,000 once a month.
According to the statement, individual afghani account holders can withdraw 70,000 Afs a week or 250,000 Afs a month.
The Central Bank said that account holders of private and government companies can also withdraw 5 percent of their deposited money once a month, which cannot exceed $100,000.
