Corruption rocks in municipality collecting incomes sources

Members at independent joint anti-corruption monitoring and evaluation committee have stated that corruption is still respected fully on collecting municipalities incomes, they have warned if no necessary measurements for combating corruption doesn’t take, the following municipalities will remain has huge center of corruption in Afghanistan.

Head of the independent joint anti-corruption monitoring and evaluation committee Nasim Akbar said,” We suggest the Government of Afghanistan, if there is no practical step is taken for reforming, the following institution will remain as center of corruption.”

Member o f the independent joint anti-corruption monitoring and evaluation committee AbdulAziz Ariaye said,” according to Afghanistan constitution the municipalities law should adjusted, there are huge number of articles are contrary to Afghanistan constitution, one of the them is the selective post of the municipality,

Based on the report released by the independent joint anti-corruption monitoring and evaluation committee municipalities are having 200 incoming sources, where 5 incoming routes are being supervised.
