Three suicide bombers have launched coordinated attacks over Logar province court building, local official said.
At least seven people, including a newly appointed chief prosecutor have been killed when three assailants attacked the court.
Twenty three other people were wounded in the attack in Puli Alim, the provincial capital of Logar province.
“Three gunmen entered the court building and started shooting people at close range,” Salim Saleh, the provincial governor’s spokesman said.
“Seven people were killed including Mohammad Akram Nejat, the newly appointed head of the court.”
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, with spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid saying it was in response to the government’s execution of six Taliban prisoners in early May.
