Contract Signed for Second Phase of Herat Ring Road
Herat Ring Road which is about 25 KM lengthy will help reduce the crick in traffic and will prevent heavy vehicles traffic.
During the signing ceremony of this project, the Italian ambassador stressed on the continued cooperation of his country to Afghanistan in infrastructure sectors.
Ambassador Of Italy in his speech said, “I am pleased that this contract is signed. Monitoring of this project is undertaken by the Embassy of Italy, we will share all the detail of the project with the contractor and show to Herat’s People that we are faithful to our promise.”
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah Abdullah has called on people to cooperate with security forces in providing the security of the ring road.
It has been scheduled that the construction of Herat Ring Road second phase to be completed in 18 months.
