The Coalition for Salvation of Afghanistan has warned that measures must be taken to break the monopolistic exercise of power by the Presidential Palace-(ARG).

“Monopoly power exists in ARG and the priority of the coalition is to break the despotism that is not in interest of Afghanistan,” said Bashir Ahmad Tayenj, member of the Coalition for Salvation of Afghanistan.

The Coalition has once again criticized President Ghani for his recent statements.

President Ghani responded to his critics who accused him of monopolizing the power and called on the new Coalition for the Salvation of Afghanistan to submit their reform suggestions yesterday.

Ghani clarified his position on the new coalition by saying, “Da Gaz Da Maidan” a Pashtu proverb an equivalent to “Bring it on” in English.

The new coalition emphasized clearing security institutions of individuals who prevent the elimination of Taliban as one of their objectives.

Leaders of three political parties, all of whom hold senior positions in the government, recently announced from Turkey that they have formed a coalition to save Afghanistan from chaos and they intend to follow up their announcement with a rally in Afghanistan.
