U.S Air Force Chief of Staff General David L. Goldfein has announced that Boeing B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers have completed airstrikes against targets in Afghanistan for the first time in 10 years.

Meanwhile Officials in Ministry of Defense have urged that using the B-52H has been useful for destroying the terrorist’s safe houses in Afghanistan.

U.S officials in Pentagon have announced that they have used the B-52H bombers for the second time to target terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.

However the following bombers were used on destroying Taliban in 2001 in Afghanistan for the first time.

Ministry of Defense Spokesman Dawlat Waziri said,”U.S and NATO Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan are providing air supports of the Afghan security forces on the ground, when we determine the object then the responsibility of bombing goes to US Air forces to use which war plane fighters.”

Military experts demanded the US Air forces to target the main center of the terrorism.

Military expert Zalmay Wardak said,” US Air forces should target the main source of terrorism which are in Pakistan, by bombing the main center of terrorists in Pakistan Afghans will believe that US is definitely defending their rights.”
