AWCC customer from Sar-e-Pul wins bumper cash prize
A customer from northern Sar-e-Pul province has won 500,000 afghanis (AFN) in a lucky draw compliments of Afghan Wireless Communication Company.
The winner, Zabihullah, lives in Sar-e-Pul and is an AWCC subscriber.
AWCC’s “Lucky Lottery” is a monthly initiative where subscribers stand the chance to win a grand prize of 500,000 afghanis.
Officials in neighboring Balkh province say the Islamic Emirate is committed to supporting the private sector, especially telecommunication networks; but that these networks also need to provide telecommunication and internet services to people living in remote areas.
AWCC officials meanwhile say that the company, which was the first mobile phone company in the country, has always tried to provide correct and standard telecommunication and internet services to the nation.
