Afghanistan Wireless Communication Company (AWCCC) which is the first communication company in Afghanistan has marked its 14th anniversary.
Chairman of AWCC says that Afghanistan Wireless Communication Company is the first company in Afghanistan which connected the country with the world.
“We had many great achievements in the past 14 years,” Amin Ramin, chairman of AWCC said.
Afghan Wireless is the nation’s largest provider of telecommunications services which provides mobile services in Afghanistan.
In the meantime, the deputy of communication ministry considered AWCC’s functions valuable.
” Afghanistan Wireless Communication Company has began a revolution with its opening,” Baryalai Hesam, deputy of ministry of communication said.
Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) has also considered AWCC important in economic growth of the country.
Afghan Wireless Communication Company is a pioneer in the field of telecommunications in Afghanistan. It is also the largest telecom company in the country with more than 5000 employees.
AWCC has been providing its customers with superior telecommunications experience since 2002. The company also boasts of a microwave backbone that covers a length of over 4000 kilometers.
