The auditing process of all votes cast will be completed over the next few days and the final result of election would be announced soon, said the independent election commission (IEC).
Spokesman of IEC, Noor Muhammad Noor said that after the announcement of the final result of election, it will be clear that who was involved in fraud.
Noor noted that IEC would soon share its new schedule with the government, presidential candidates, the United Nations (UN) and the people to firm up the date for final results and other tasks of the commission.
Noor added that exactly 86.2 percent of votes have been audited, which makes up 19,751 ballot boxes out of the total 22,828.
Spokesman of IEC also mentioned that serious measures have been taken to ensure a smooth and transparent end to the overall audit process.
In the mean time, spokesman of Afghanistan president has said that as long as the new president of Afghanistan is elected, Hamid Karzai will be the president of Afghanistan.
