Attack on NDS Training Center in Kabul, Leaves No Casualties: Police

The militants attack on a training center of Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) in capital Kabul on Monday ended after five hours of clashes with security forces, officials said.

The attack took place at around 10:00 am in Police District 5 of Kabul City when at least two attackers entered an under-construction building close to the training center.  The assault was ended after all attackers were gunned down. 

According to Kabul Police, the incident left no casualties to security forces and civilians.

Mohammad Sadiq Muradi, the Deputy of Head of 101 Police Zone told reporters that the attackers were aiming to enter the training center when the faced the resistance of police forces.

The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility for the attack.
