Afghan security forces have launched the second joint clearing operation to suppress the armed insurgents.
According to officials, the armed militants had many activities in the districts and harassed the people.
The spokesman of Balkh governor, Munir Ahmad Farhad said currently clashes are ongoing between the security forces and the armed oppositions and nearly a hundred people abandoned their homes and displaced to the other districts of the province.
Balkh residents are said to believe that the instability of the security forces after the launch of the military operations has caused the armed opposition to re-penetrate the areas.
However, Afghan security forces have assured the inhabitants to not allow the opposition groups to capture any points of the Balkh districts.
