Amrullah Saleh announces his support for Dr. Abdullah

Former Afghan Chief of Intelligence and leader of the Rawand Sabz Party, Amrullah Saleh, announced his support for Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in the run-off election.
Amrullah Saleh said he had decided to join Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and would like all supporters of the Rawand Sabz Party to vote for Dr. Abdullah in the second round of the election.
“We want a government free from corruption and discrimination,” said Amrullah Saleh.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah promised the Rawand Subz Party that he would form a government that would uphold the rights of the people of Afghanistan.
With less than 20 days to the run- off election, it seems difficult to predict who would finally make it to the Presidential Palace.
