Anwarulhaq Ahadi, chairman of this party calls on National Unity Government (NUG) to prevent squandering  money of Afghan military forces.

Ahadi urges the leaders of the National Unity Government to fulfill their commitments; citing the Afghan government will not be able to pay the expenditures of Afghan security forces after the year 2024.

“The budget of Afghan security forces faces the risk of serious embezzlement,” said Anwarulhaq Ahadi, chairman of new national front party.

But Afghan security institutions say their one of their priorities is fighting the corruption and their main focuses are in preventing the squandered of security forces expenditures.

“Our main focus is on financial sources to be transparent; great changes have been made even in contracts,” said Sidiq Sidiqi, spokesman of the interior ministry.

The new national front party once again considered the National Unity Government illegitimate and emphasized on the formation of national consensus.

“It would be impossible for the National Unity Government to be able to pay the expenditures of its Afghan forces after the current year,” Ahadi added.

This comes as the donor countries of Afghanistan once again pledged their financial assistances to Afghanistan for long-term.
