Chairman of the AUC, Qeyamouddin Kashaf said some groups are trying to make divisions among religions in Afghanistan, but they will fail because Afghan people are the model of unity among religions in the region.
“We assure our people to punish enemies. There is no difference between Shia and Sunni in Afghanistan,” Kashaf said.
Religious scholars have stressed on eradicating the extremism; citing that terrorist want to weakens Islam by attacking to mosques.
“We are brothers and will never allow the enemies penetrate in between us,” said Waeez Zada Behsoodi, a religious scholar.
AUC also criticized Pakistan’s efforts for fueling the war in Afghanistan.
The IS group have repeatedly attacked on Shiite religious ceremonies in the past two years, but Afghans insist that their efforts have no result.
