Afghan business men have welcomed that new policy for exchanging of the goods from Afghanistan to International countries.
“Transports Internationaux Routiers” or “International Road Transports”.) The 1975 convention replaced the TIR Convention of 1959, which itself replaced the 1949 TIR Agreement between a number of European countries.
The Ministry of commerce and Industry spokesman, Musafir Qoqandi said,” Afghanistan has gained the membership of TIR on 2013 and from now on wards it will practice the policy.”
A number of the economy experts have pointed out on the geographical location of Afghanistan claiming after the implementation of the TIR policy it will gain more money for the country.
Officials in Ministry of commerce and Industry claimed that Afghanistan neighboring countries are exerting pressures for not meeting the economical objectives.
It’s said Afghanistan has been member of the organization thirty years ago due to internal war Afghanistan has lost its membership.
