Afghanistan National Women Soccer Team to Play in South Asian Cup Tomorrow

Afghanistan National Women Soccer players will experience their first match in South Asian Cap tomorrow; they will play Vs Maldives, India, and Bangladesh in the (B) Group.

Afghanistan National Women Soccer players had gone to Pakistan for doing some practices with Pakistani Football players in order to gain some experiences out of several matches in Islamabad.

The Afghanistan women’s National football team was formed in 2007 by the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee with players taken from selected school girls in Kabul.

Afghanistan National Women Soccer players during past several years despite of significant challenges could grow rapidly, which encouraged several other Women to across the country to join this game as their favorite.

Currently, the Afghan team has 22 members coached by Abdul Saboor Walizada, There are around 25 women’s football teams around the country and the Football Federation considers holding the first national football tournament in the country this year.

Liverpool wins Premier League 2019/2020

The 2-1 defeat for Manchester City at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea ensures that Liverpool mathematically cannot be caught in the table.

Following their previous success in 1990, the 19th premier league title for Liverpool ended a 30-year long wait.

Liverpool is now the only Football club in the history of the premier to claim the championship earlier than any other club, doing so with seven games still to be played.

Reds have had a fantastic run this season with 86 points accumulated after 31 matches played, with 28 wins, two draws, and one defeat.

Although there was some doubt as to whether the season would even be resumed due to the coronavirus pandemic, which shut stadiums for three months, this was Manchester City as the runner-up who gifted the 2019/2020 championship to Reds.

In the next match, Manchester City is to give a guard of honor for Liverpool as the early champions of the season.

Earning this title, Liverpool win its 19th title of the premier league, reducing its difference with Manchester United to one.

Liverpool inches away to win PL after 30 years

Liverpool Football Club just needs five more points to secure their 18th title of Premier League.

In this season, even Coronavirus could not stop Liverpool from inching the league title.

Reaching a 0-0 draw with Everton in the 30th week of PL, Liverpool now needs five more points in the remaining eight weeks of PL to win the title after 30 years.

Liverpool has now 23 points higher than Manchester City, and the Reds can win the title in the following possible causes.

  • If Manchester City loses the match against Burnley on Monday, and Liverpool defeats Crystal Palace on Wednesday, the Reds will win the title.
  • In cases, MC defeats Burnley and loses the match against Chelsea on Thursday, and Liverpool defeats Crystal Palace on Wednesday, the Reds will win the title.
  • If MC wins both of the above matches then Liverpool has the chance to win the title by defeating Manchester City at Etihad on 2nd July.

Liverpool had a wonderful run this season with 27 wins out 30 matches having two draws and one loss.

Winning the league title for the 2019/20 season, Liverpool will reduce its difference with Manchester United to one. 

Manchester United has the most PL titles (20).

Champions League scheduled to resume on August

The Champions League, after a five-month suspension caused by the coronavirus pandemic, is now scheduled to resume in August.

CL is scheduled to finish with a 12-day mini-tournament in Lisbon of Portugal.

Eight teams will play from the quarterfinals in knockout games at two venues, the UEFA executive committee decided on Wednesday.

The final will be held at the home stadium of Portuguese club Benfica on Sunday, Aug. 23 — the latest date ever.

The timing and place of the remaining matches of the 1/16 stage are yet to be announced.

This comes as the other major European leagues are already resumed.
