Afghanistan National Women Soccer players will experience their first match in South Asian Cap tomorrow; they will play Vs Maldives, India, and Bangladesh in the (B) Group.
Afghanistan National Women Soccer players had gone to Pakistan for doing some practices with Pakistani Football players in order to gain some experiences out of several matches in Islamabad.
The Afghanistan women’s National football team was formed in 2007 by the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee with players taken from selected school girls in Kabul.
Afghanistan National Women Soccer players during past several years despite of significant challenges could grow rapidly, which encouraged several other Women to across the country to join this game as their favorite.
Currently, the Afghan team has 22 members coached by Abdul Saboor Walizada, There are around 25 women’s football teams around the country and the Football Federation considers holding the first national football tournament in the country this year.
